During the 61st Annual Montana AFL-CIO Convention in Billings, Brother Rich Aarstad was awarded the Montana AFL-CIO’s Lifetime Service Award. Executive Secretary Al Ekblad presented Aarstad with the award saying that Brother Aarstad “never says no” and is always there for his union and the Montana AFL-CIO, whether it’s leading the fight on the State Employee Pay Plan or reminding members of their shared and proud history as members of the Montana Labor Movement.
Aarstad is a member of MEA-MFT and is the Senior Manuscript Archivist at Montana Historical Society. President Eric Feaver, MEA-MFT and Executive Director Quint Nyman, MPEA joined Ekblad in congratulating Aarstad and highlighting his service to organized labor.
Congratulations and thank you, Brother Aarstad!

Governor Mike Cooney, Representative Jenny Eck, Senator Jon Sesso, Deputy Commissioner of Labor and Industry Galen Hollenbaugh, and Budget Director Dan Villa.
