The House GOP is playing games with Montana’s infrastructure

The Associated Press reports

The Montana House has rejected another attempt to bring back an infrastructure bill that it previously voted down twice.

The bill’s attempted revival on Monday was the product of behind-the-scenes negotiations between House Republican leaders and Democratic Gov. Steve Bullock.

But the measure failed to gather the required 67 votes to go back to the House floor.

The GOP House Leadership is playing political games with Montana jobs, Montana’s safety, and Veterans care. They’re also threatening to hold any infrastructure bill hostage unless Montana embraces charter schools, which will weaken our public schools and use our tax dollars for private profit.
